Very pleasant hotel in downtown Nagano. Good security with key card access. Our premier King room was sizable. Bed comfortable. Bathroom with shower outside of tub, something I just don’t get. But it worked well, with good water pressure. Hotel is modern. Staff very helpful, and seemed to universally speak English. Room was quiet, with no squeaky doors. Limited storage for clothes. Lighting in bathroom/sink/makeup area was acceptable, but room lighting not good for reading at night. Wifi strong. Huge smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime (bring your own account); couldn’t find English TV, despite satellite channels. Central ducted air conditioning worked well; whisper quiet. Good, but not exceptional breakfast included in rate. Overall, a good experience, and we’d return. Hint: The Nagano rail station is big and confusing. Best to take taxi to hotel, or if using carry-on, take subway to Kokusai Center rather than negotiate surface streets.

The breakfast was lovely, we didn't have the Japanese breakfast as we came down late but the western style breakfast which was delicious. There was also lots of choice from the continental section (the tiny pastries where delightful). The room was spectacular and well worth the money. They'd thought of almost everything we could need and it was extremely spacious. The staff where very friendly and spoke good English, which given our very limited Japanese we where very grateful for. We only stayed for one night but the morning we woke up it was rainy and for those staying they had umbrellas that could be rented. This might be quite common but it was the first time we saw it advertised. It is a little bit of a walk from the station, so bare that in mind, but it isn't too long. There's also lots of small restaurants in the vicinity which is very handy.

Nice bathrooms separate from the toilet, big rooms, clever design with the sliding door between the washing/sleeping area, big TV that is BYO-device friendly, took our pre-delivered luggage to the room. With comfy beds and thick curtains, we slept very well. Fast WiFi and a nice lounge that seems to be work-friendly. Tons of Izakayas in the neighborhood, although the majority of options are still around the station if you are not out for a drink. The front desk staff speaks good English. If you visit Japan for the first time and worry about the language barrier, this is an ideal first/last stop.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, one of the staff could speak Chinese. My mom fell down at the station, so we asked for some ice cubes, she gave us some plastic bags to put the ice cubes in from the ice machine. There was a restaurant and bar on the first floor, and the interior design was amazing. The room was tidy, cozy, and with many useful facilities. We asked the staff to help book us a taxi for the next morning, he even came out to help us carry our luggage on to the taxi, and saw us off. Would definitely stay here again when I visit Nagoya next time.

The hotel is well-situated and close to public transport, but you can walk (within 2km) to a good number of places in Nagoya that are of interest during your stay. The hotel's interior is vibrant and has a great design touch. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they make your stay very easy. The rooms are good, comfortable, clean and have all the amenities that one expects in a hotel room. The breakfast provides a good selection to choose from, the coffee is great and the ambience is very nice.
